We have made it halfway, 20 weeks down, 20 to go! I can't believe this little fact. I still have moments where I don't feel pregnant at all. I have finally broken out some maternity clothes, but am thrilled to still be wearing my own jeans! This is inspite of the snacking and sweets that I have been consuming. Cereal has been the snack of choice and Root Beer is still a favorite all of the time!
Even Henry seems to be getting ready in his own little way. I have a cabbage patch doll that he loves to hug and carry around. He points out it's features (eyes, nose and ears) and then pats it's head and says "nice". Hopefully this will be the same in a few months.

Ultrasound Update
This is the best picture from our ultrasound. We didn't have too many to take home, the baby was hiding from the camera. Everything went well though, the baby is growing well. I managed to put on a little extra weight this month, so I'm just working on bulking it up! I'm not aiming for a 12 pounder this time around though!Wednesday, January 16, 2008

Drowning in Root Beer
Craving: Root Beer
I think this baby will be a swimmer...there is definitely enough fluid going down!

Merry Christmas
The baby was spoiled already this Christmas. We received many gifts from family for our new little one. They have all been tucked away together and waiting more patiently than we for use.
I had another appointment with the doctor on Christmas eve. Everything was well. The next appt is our ultrasound - we can't wait!

One Sickness to Another
So I seem to have passed from morning sickness to the winter cold. I had a cold over Christmas while pregnant for Henry, so I guess it is fitting. I'm hoping to be through the worst of it soon so that next week is more fun. Three days down, how many more to go?!

13 Weeks
We have hit the 13 week mark, the end of the first trimester! My morning sickness is subsiding, still the occasional flare up, but nothing to bad. We are all thankful for that! A third of the way through, 2/3 to go.
