Breaking the News

We have officially released the news. Our little family is growing!

I went to the doctor yesterday and heard the heartbeat. Only one, but that is fine with us! I was able to record it for Scott to hear when he got home. It made everything seem so much more real.

Our parents were very excited, and we were so excited to tell them. Here is Henry with Grandma and Grandpa:

Morning Sickness...all day long...

So 9 weeks in and still feeling sick. Just when I think it is over it starts again. Today wasn't the best day in those terms, hopefully tomorrow will be better!

Scott keeps thinking that this is signaling a girl since I was not this sick with Henry. I think things are just different this time around so I'm not leaning either way yet.

Licorice Anyone?

Lately one of the only things that sounds good is licorice. Today at Meijer I bought some and had to hide it in my drawer at work to prevent myself from eating the whole bag.

Interesting note: I was craving licorice during my last pregnancy at about the same time.
